Our little patisserie bake house now offers a classic French chocolate Madeleine baking mix. This light chocolatey sponge cake is a perfect treat for those with a sweet tooth. Made with clean ingredients with the addition of Belgian cocoa. Pairs well with a red wine or hot cocoa. These chocolatey cakes are best eaten warm with a light sprinkle of powdered sugar or dipped/drizzled with one of our chocolate sauces. Quick and easy to assemble with only three added ingredients and about a 10 minute baking time will give you a delightful French dessert that has been enjoyed for many generations.
Makes about 24 Madeleine's. Ingredients needed: 1 Stick of butter (melted), 3 eggs and 2 tablespoons water.
